We took a giant bus family field trip with the kids! Our special needs orphanage kids plus our special needs school kids plus our deaf center class all enjoyed a family field trip because of you! (73 kids) We had a big bull blocking the road, then some donkey’s and a flock of sheep but finally made it and had a wonderful day loving our family!

THE LUXURY OF WATER?
Water is a luxury to many….Kids raised in rural Peru spend many hours carrying water jugs rather than kicking a soccer ball. A fresh water source can reduce disease, keep kids in school and change lives. After making bricks for 12 hours a day, this single Mom hand bathes her baby girl...We help prevent child abandonment by embracing single Mom’s needs. We live to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

ONLY THE LOVE OF A MOTHER WOULD DO THIS.....
Someone Is Praying For What You Take For Granted
We walked into the orphanage we met a mom & her 9 year old blind autístic mute son ...he was laying on ground unable to walk & has no wheelchair due to extreme poverty....she heard of a school for the blind in Arequipa , she took a 9 hour bus ride carrying her precious son. She was rejected by the school because her son is autistic, non verbal and wears diapers. In her despair, they sent her here to our orphanage....we took her to a neurologist for an evaluation. We talked as she is considering moving here where she could actually work at orphanage, her son could join our school and get the support they both need. She said she could sell food or fruits in street to survive. Special needs kids have no support outside of Lima or Arequipa. We prayed with her, then carried her son down to the street where she caught a bus home. Praying she returns so we can help, minister and love.

NEW VOLCANO EXPLOSION UBINAS PERY
Continued prayers as Sandro’s Mom and Dad have chosen to stay protecting the property and trying to save their farm animals. Volcanic ash & toxic gases continue to spew over Ubinas covering the surrounding countryside with volcanic ash. Over 29,000 people in Southern Peru down to Bolivian border have evacuated closing over 617 schools and 20 health clinics. Llamas, Alpacas, Vicunas and farm animals are in extreme danger after the volcano’s activity layered the pastures with ash deposits. The herds are the main source of income for many residents in this area. The government has declared a state of emergency for the next 60 days and is setting up tent cities about 12 miles away for the evacuees.
