Four years ago today, our beloved Charlie Craig went to Heaven...Over a decade ago, our family joined Charlie for annual mission trips to the Amazon Jungle. Charlie's legacy lives on. Our Live Simply family is now serving & living in a small shanty town in Characato, Peru living what we believe. SCHOOL RETURNS AFTER TWO YEARS!!!!
School is starting back for the first time in two years! Your love is providing school supplies and backpacks to our singe mom special needs families in extreme poverty. You can see by the smiles in this picture, you really made them feel special. Many of these kids have dealt with the shame of not having new school stuff until you came along!!!
FREE WHEELCHAIR CLINIC IN REMOTE AREAS
Some were carried in, some rode old wheelchairs in, while a few got fitted for prosthetic legs….yet every single person was praising the LORD as they rode out with new chairs and walkers and the HOPE only found thru Jesus Christ!!!!
Many wait for years for custom wheelchairs not available for purchase in remote areas. Live Simply is helping sponsor this MMI clinic traveling thru southern Perú with your help for two weeks with hundreds of new wheelchairs!

FLEEING SOCIALISM
Everytime we ride taxi/combi to the market or into town, we see young families with kids selling penny candies, drinks, jello cups, kids cleaning car windows, street jugglers , street dancers in the middle of the streets and at stop lights…people fending for a meal for the day…..countless Venezuelans have fled socialism, literally walking for weeks to get here, doing their all just to survive. The LORD burdened our hearts to make some old fashioned tracks with our church info and sharing hope in Jesus Christ, we got 50 empanadas, snacks,drinks, salvation baby dolls for kids and made a bag lunch. We met family after family sharing prayer, giving hope and invited them to come to our local church. One Mom blessed my soul, she said “I needed to hear from CHRIST today.”

We rescue abandoned street children living in extreme poverty.
